H/C LQ9. Any low end loss???
I have a bolt-on LQ9 in my rcsb. I feel the need for more power! LOL My father recently put a TR224-112 in his ccsb 6.0. After driving a stock 6.0, I can definately tell he lost some low-end. I am wantin to do a cam, but no stall. I can get a set of stock 243's for basically free. If I add 243's with a TSP224-112, will I still lose some low end? I love my father's cam from 3000 up, but down low its a dog. What about a 212/218 high lift with heads, wouldn't that pull like crazy all over? I don't have any need or want to spin past 6300ish. I do tow a bass boat and haul a harley occasionally.

at least put a trailblazer converter in, I like my 212/218 high lift but not sure how it would be in a LQ9. I plan on running a tr220 should make good torque.

Dude, I'm sorry. But because of my atv wreck, the motor work got put on hold due to broken arms and medical bills. And my last threads ended with the decision to go with the 224, but the more I'm in my father's truck, the more I realize his low-end sucks. I don't wanna lose my low-end like his.
I really don't want a different tc, and the funds aren't there anyways. Right now I'd only be loking at about ~$600 for the cam kit, and the heads are basically free. I'll be doing the install and tune myself.

A converter can fix that up real quick, try either a circle D stall or TB stall. Also you should be alot lighter then dads truck is being your a rcsb.
