Stock specs? the torque to yield procedure? you know with arp bolts that if you use the stock head bolt procedure you end up torquing the heads down to around 150 ft lbs right?

If you did the factory torque sequence on your ARP bolts you more than likely had them torqued to somewhere aroung 150 ft lbs

i take that back not stock specs but the specs for arp bolts..im tired and not all here right now

haha thats funny..i torqued mine to arp stocks..just wasnt thinkin at the time i said that

Thats interesting. Are those multi layered steel gaskets or just a single thin stamped steel piece? I used felpro steel shim gaskets when I went with vortec heads and I like them a lot. I was skeptical but they worked out good. They have some type of sticky coating on them thats sort of like high tack I guess.

Maybe you should slide a Gen I block in there with 5 bolts per cylinder. I'll probably get shot for saying that on here.

i gotta 13:1 355 in my dirt track car ive thought about puttin it there but honestly i like the ls1 engines alot better..

I've seen the gaskets look like that on boosted engines with factory installed heads and bolts, arp bolts, and arp studs. Never had any issues with the MLS gaskets, just signs of blow-by as in the picture.
