Head milling for Cleanup only
Have you had your heads milled slightly for cleanup?
What did you do about valvetrain clearances? Did you have to special order shorter push rods, or did you install shims under the rocker arm bolts?

Milling the heads just enough to clean them up should not affect your valve train geometry enough to need new pushrods. Unless it's taking a ton to clean them up. I milled a set of 243's with 100000 miles on them about 2 months ago and it only took .008 to get them back flat. Threw the motor back together with the stock pushrods and car runs perfect.

Well I suppose at a few thou there shouldn't be any major issues, but personally, I'd still check lifter preload, for the cheap price of a pr length checker and the little bit of time that it takes to check, why not? Just for reference, stock length pr is 7.38, and aftermarket pr's are offered in increments of .025 (ex: 7.4, 7.375, 7.425, etc.)
