Default heads for an 08 5.3

i have an 08 5.3 silverado i wanted to swap heads off an 04 denali 6.0 will it work and is it worth it ? also looking for a good cam for it i use it for joy riding only no towing and plan on putting twin turbos on this winter any suggestions ?

I would go with it's not worth it. The new 5.3's have 243/799 heads which are essentially LS6 heads.

absolutely not, that will cost you hp, you will lose alot of compression, and not flow any better at all. If you are wanting to do some heads, send yours out to someone like wcch for porting, or mill them a touch, along with a good 5 angle valve job if you want to stay on a budget. Many many better upgrades for the money, and effort though.
