which heads to go with 408 stroker
which heads to run on a 408 stroker.. i was planning to run the the L92/L76 Cylinder Head(64cc) and Manifold Package from slp but then i was reading on on here that with the L92L76 heads make less than a set of different heads and this is what i read....so thus having me wait off on the l92/76 manfold headcombo
6.0 with cam and that topend can see 480rwhp easy
a 6.7 with cam andthat topend unported is roughly 10rwhp less.
6.7 with a set of ported L92s barely sees 5xx rwhp
6.7 with a set of stage 3 Ls6 heads is easily over 5xx rwhp
theres a truck recently RCSB with this topend and only musted a 11.8 i believe...that is good time but should be way faster with a 408.
so thus leaving me thinkin to either going with a set of
PRC LS6 Stage 3 Ported Heads
Precision Race Components LS6 Stage 3 CNC Ported Cylinder heads, 64cc Chamber
which one would be better with my set up of the 408 consists of Diamond 4cc pistons, plasamoly/napier ring set, eagle h-beams with , eagle 4" crank ,With ARP2000 rod bolts and ARP main stud, ls6 ported oil pump, DBR timing chain , Long tube headers aem intake .. still debating on which manifold to run with and cam
so any input/feed back would be great and also what cam to run
