Oh ya, if you can find one with a +2 timing advance it'll move the powerband down just a bit, but with a 3k verter, you won't need to.

tsp or tr 220 or step it up a bit and get a 224

I'm looking for something that will give some good 60's... 228 is definately out of
the question since it's only a 3k stall and it's a 4.8... He'llthats big for a 5.3



What kind of numbers do you
guys see with the cams you
fits mentioned. Will these 4.8's go 13's? Cammed and stalled full bolt ons of course

Put the cam I have for sale in it......224/228,.581,.588 on a 110 deg. of seperation. He's got the stall for it and its cheaper than a new one.........https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=447717

He said that he wanted good 60's.......I got a 1.69 with this cam and with a 3200 stall. My truck is even 4wd.The lope is outta control!!! Theres vids on here of it.

Some of these people..........

He's only got a 3000 stall, why would you even think about using a cam that big with such a tight stall. Maybe if you're looking for a dyno queen....

that cam blackgmc has is perfect for the 4.8.
