help me select a cam for my 00 5.3

Post help me select a cam for my 00 5.3

sorry...newbie here...want to swap out cam in 00 5.3, z71 ecsb, what would be a good choice...im not really wantin to run a stall but would like a little lopy idle if possible....any ideas..have nitrous but am ditching it....

These two ideas don't mix. It can't sound like a big cam if it's not one.

It can't sound like a big cam if it's not one.

Please read all the stickys, there are just so many choices and cam selection is personal, like choosing underwear... I don't let strangers (or friends) pick them out for me

search button i think lookin in this section mite find something else too answer but dont search around find something u think u mite want then post up with what your goal is etc etc. but search will more than likely answer ur question... and welcome to the site.

first of all i didnt say anything bout a big cam....and thanx for the feedback...by a little lopy idle i mean a noticeable change....kinda like the RV cam in older gen engines...

Sorry they got a little carried away with your thread, I would look at the zo6 cam, makes good power and you wont absolutely need a stall

This is all relative. To some people a noticeable change is a 220/220 on a 112lsa to others it's a 212/218 on a 114 LSA. Just a matter of opinion. Search the multimedia thread for cam videos.
