Default Help Me Spec A Cam

I wanna get some ideas for a cam where I can still make enough low torque to be happy...and have the sickest idle in a truck lol (6k lb SSS)

3800 tc( got it to go with a cam im not putting in now)
4.10
370 w/ forged -4cc pistons
243 or 317 heads (I have both)
dual springs good to .650
intake
exhaust w/ true duals and TOG headers
tbss manifold and tb (on the way)

I'm lookin to get one ground. Thanks for any input

and its gonna see a good amount of spray too

Pm Patrick G with what "U" want. He'll spec a cam to your needs. I'd run the 243's heads and get them ported.

For a cam to really work well with nitrous, you'll want to limit overlap, and have a cam that favors the exhaust side, both in terms of duration and early exhaust valve opening...problem is, this will come at the expense of both low end torque and an aggressive idle; both of which you said you wanted..

the cam i was gonna put in was a comp 238/242 .605/.610 114 lsa but i changed my mind and want to make power and have a sound. but if it's sound or power, I'll go with power. whatever is the best I can make and still have it aggressive is what I'll go with.

How much N20 are you planning on spraying? I think I'd want a little more emphasis on the exhaust.
