Default High Oil Press :( dont know what to do

Ok guys so finally i got a good motor....

I got a ls6 shortblock it was in good running condition....

I put in a new oil pump thats off the LSA motor Cts-v...

Car started up ran fine except my oil press is at 60 COLD and over 80 at WOT...

After a few runs the rear main was leaking baddd almost pissin

I had put in 10-40 wt oil just to flush the motor ... So i am like ok fine its the heavy oil ... dumped it and put 5-30 Edge ... Same problem....

As of now there are not oil coolers or anything...

Does anyone have a idea ... i am lost..... My next thing is putting in a oil cooler i got... but if that does not do it then idk..

I think the oil press has something to do with the rear main leak ?

Thanks guys

did you put the oil pan on first, then the rear cover? . . . might be miss aligned.
Put a little RTV in the bottom corners of the cover too.

You could probably do something like this. Im not sure the oil pressure would cause a rear main leak, the oil in the pan isnt under any pressure I think
