Dont need storys, I lived on the dyno for the past 6 years. Its simply not suited for your combination.

If you want a story.... This is what yours will be, but worse. Because this was on a 6.0L....(ProFlow XT intake, but will be very similar.)

Richard says they act a lot like the victor (3500-7000 rpm) but shorter runners, so it would have to be for a lighter vehicle, looser converter and lower gear or something that can afford to give up so much bottom.
I'm running a 4L80E, 3000 stall with 3.73's and don't want to change and give up driveability. The fact is there is nothing out there currently for most of our trucks. FAST is supposily working on a truck only intake but sure it will be big $ when and if.
So I'm going back to the LS6 intake, it falls off some at the top but I was in the high 7's at the 1/8th with it so not too bad.
My only regret.........I sold my LS6 intake.................................

funny thing is , your truck intakes are a LONG RUNNER DESIGN also

if you look at the ole TPI motors and LT1/4 , the TPI was a long runner and made more low end grunt , the LT1/4 made more high end power

The manifolds in question are not long runner... Stockers, yes. Holley High Ram, no, ones pictured above, no.

Really blowing up the holley hi ram threads tonight, eh?

Performance wise, the stock one is fine, unless you are reving 6200+, but it does look really cool.

lol yeah I was just wondering about it.... Then I found a thread that callies posted and I seen the power band @ 6300 was only 20hp more then with a LS3 intake and 90mm TB....So I got my answer with that thread.. not worth only if you want that look... You can send your intake to Russell performance and get it PNP and have better gains then that and less money.
