How do yall lock the motor to torque the balance bolt to 250 ft/lbs ?

Not recommended, but I have seen other "techs" before stick pry bars through the front of the hub and let the bar rest on oil pan bolts or in that general area then watch them crank down

You can make a flywheel hold tool with a piece of scrap strap steel 5 or 6 inches long. Drill a hole in each end. Bolt one side to the block or oil pan bellhousing bolt, and the other side to the flexplate torque converter bolt hole. Put a couple little bends on it so everything lines up.

Pull the balancer on with my tool and hit it with an impact.

My IR cordless impact will do 700 lb/ft forward and 1100 lb/ft nutbusting.

Also, I always tighteb my balancers to spec with a long breaker bar and hold the balancer in place with the belt wrap method

Put my truck in gear (5speed) and a quick little blip with my 3/4" drive Matco. Problem solved.
