Keep in mind when choosing a cam that overlap bleeds off boost. Thumpr cam has 8* of overlap and is a not a good choice for boost.
I know you you aren't looking to set a world record, but it sounds like you want to use boost to overcome a low performing camshaft. If your cam is doing nothing but bleeding off boost, you lose on both ends. Smaller duration is best for the 4.8 and will help with boost in the long run.
My suggestion is a custom grind 214/218 on a 111 LSA. Cam will have a lot of chop to it, make good power, but with -6* of overlap, you won't bleed off near as much boost as the Thumpr.

You want a cam that is under a 220 duration for that small of a motor, other wise the truck will drive like total dog s***. Bogging everywhere eating lots of fuel. Will get old real quick.

That's awesome thanks for that calculator mann.I have heard notHing but good thing about the isky triple 12 think that's what I'm going with.. came out -8 overlap
