Hydrolocked?
ok so i went off roading on friday, thought i might get the truck a little dirty. well i went through one water hole with out any problems and got a little cocky. then i desided to go through another one well it was a lot deeper than i tought. the engine seized and i had to get her towed. after about two and a half hours and maybe 2 gallons of water we got the top end off to find two rods broke. it was the two cylinders on the back of the engine (i believe its the 7 and 8 cylinders) i still need to get a lift so i can pull the engine. but what i am curious about is how easy is it to knock the crank off balance and also if those two pistons fire right after each other. right now im just hoping the engine died fast enough so the broken rods didn't smack the cylinder walls.

Okay well I'm one of his buddy's, anyways the motor is in... now it runs ..... well at 2000-2500+ it throws a multiple misfire code and Cylinder # 4 misfire! WTF
it runs kind of rough at Idle when the SES light Is FLASHING (isn't that a very bad sign?)
now when it says multiple misfires does that mean spark knock sensors picked that up?
MAF got really wet when he obviously hydro-locked it... might be an issue took mine of my truck it ran a little better not much though. His O2s are bad ....I think the both back 2. would the water mess the front ones up at all?
What might we be looking at on this? I'm thinking plug wire are messed up and need to be replaced (I hope) (originals 86k and they where a pain to get off so might have broke in the inside!?!?)
his muffler had about 2-3 gallons of muddy water in it when we started it- it couldn't breath so we helped it out by putting a bigger hole at the back of the muffler (drain it out)...
I'm tired of working on this any input would be great... Thanks

Flashing SES means catalyst damaging misfire (very rich). If the back 2 O2 sensors are bad, it will not affect the running of the engine; they are only catalyst monitors. If you are suspicious of a bad wire, swap it with one of yours. Also, think about what came with the motor and how much of it was put together. You may end up backtracking and fixing someone else's f-up.
