Question I know that in 05 the rods on the lq motors changed??

Over to the new style, all were the same in the engines 05 and up.. But did they also swap to a new style crank in 05 or continue to use the same as pre 05's..??? I am starting a build on a forged 370 and picked up a 02-04 lq motor with 35k on it.. I plan to make about 650 plus hp with it, want to be sure on cranks becuase I am going to use the stock one.. Thank you

I think its only the 05+ LQ9 motors, and they started using LS2 style rods.

Idk about that, but why don't you just get a complete rotating assembly from and 05+ motor and not worry about it?

Cause I already have a complete 03-04 motor sitting here.. I am selling the rods and pistons, poss the heads.. To do a forged rod, piston set up. I just want to keep the block and crank if it(crank) is the same as a 05 and after, as they went to a beefier internal set up as far as rods then the pre 05's..
