I know that in 05 the rods on the lq motors changed??

after 01 they changed the crank on the iron block 6.0 truck enignes. all lq4/lq9 after that have same crank. in 05 they put LS2 rods in all 6.0L engines (ls2/lq4/lq9) as they are stronger.

technically they are LQ9 rods, not LS2 rods, since they were first used in 2002.

A 370 will be plenty for what im looking for, wasn't a big subject not long back about a 370 vs 408, the lil diff in hp output when boosted??

the 370 is more reliable. no need for 408
