Yes I am going to put the blower back on, gona shoot for some where around 15-18 psi, not sure yet... Like stated the 370 seems to be more friendly, cause of the rod angle from having the stroker crank and what not.. Not that it (408) isn't reliable but big hp can be had from the weee 370 Yes I know you were giving me a hard time, as most of my fellow ***** tend to do..

Plus, the rod deflection angle on a stroker motor is greater than that of an N/A setup, and in boosted situation, especially heavy boost like what John is talking about, less deflection of the rods from the crank centerline will be a more reliable motor. Not nearly as likely to spin a bearing.

You are completely ignoring all the geometry and such that goes along with a longer stroke. It will consume more oil and it will not be as reliable in the long run as the 370. With boost I see really no reason whatsoever to go with the 408 over the 370, unless you got money to spend.

Actually I'm somewhat suprised that I have not seen anyone use one of the reasonably new GM LSX 3.750" stroke 4340 cranks. I understand that most folks that are going to spend the money for a forged crank can't help themselves and get the largest stroke that will easily fit in the bottom of the motor, but the 1/4" less stroke would go along way's improving the longetivity of these stroker motors. Besides that, an old school sized 383 just sounds about right for a good small-block.
