Default Internal Mods for a 99 GMC Yukon 5.7l

I was looking for some advice for internal engine mods for my 99 Gmc Yukon, and if there are any mods at all. Also, is it possible to bore or stroke my motor or a 383? Thanks for anyones input, I will highly appreciate it.

Eagle makes some 383 rotating assemblies for the 1 piece rear main style like yours.

Does Eagle have a website? I tried finding it but not sure which one it is and couldn't get a good search. Also is there anything else? Thanks for your reply Rhino.

Here's a link to Summit Racing, this is a competition kit but they have street strip kits for about half the price, just depends on what you're looking for.

It says years 92-97, Not sure if my engine is a Gen II or LT model. And I want a kit that will give me the most for my engine. Also I will have to get my engine bore'd and then drop in these components? Sorry I don't know to much. Thanks for your help again.

Sorry, I pasted up the wrong link.....I edited my above post with the correct link. You will need to bore the engine .030" over and you will probably have to clearance the block for the additional stroke. They also make some good rotating assemblies for a 355 build.

Usually when people do a bore and or stroke, is there any other modifications they have to make? And what did you mean by clearance the block. Thanks. I hope to start this modification beginning of next year.

Also I read on a website paceperformance I think it was, they had a engine like mines, already bored, it was a 383 direct drop, it was for 5 grand though. But it had a output of 340hp/435tq. Can I expect this much power increase by boring and or stroking "my" motor? Thanks Rhino, your big help.

Those smae power goals are definetly achievable, it all depends on your heads and cam choice.
