Default L92 head milling

After searching all day, i'm still unsure of a few things regarding a potential L92 head swap onto a LQ9.

My only issue is the loss of compression, and wonder if milling is an option to get back to optimal compression, around 11:1 ish, with a stock bore, flat top.

How much milling, gasket thinkness would be required for this..sorry if this has been asked before, i just couldnt find the info myself.

TY

from my research unmilled will bump the compression a very slight bit and you can use 7.4 push rods.
and I am going to use the MLS GM head gaskets.

317's are 70-71cc and L92's are 69-70cc. essentially the same. LQ9's have 10.5:1 stock.

We also use the correct/different spring seats and new valve seals to make 1.800 install height. Using the stock L92 spring seats with valve seals (one piece) will give a compressed install height (unless you mill down the head under each spring seat). We are not just slapping springs and retainers on these heads, that does not work.
is this true? Cant I just throw on these 918's I have??

i dont know why he would say it if it wasnt true, unless he missed something. maybe have to have new spring seats installed.

look for C6R Motorsports on Ebay, they offer a package as well for around the same price.

spent the last 1/2 hour reading and it might help if they come in a little shy, 1.78. and even gm springs dont exactly measure that much. I just need to check them when they go together.
I get lost reading on tech
