Iv heard of a few myself that's why I asked about the btr. Iv got 100k my motor. I'd like to replace them with a quality unit. Gaskets I'm open to anything. I'm just looking to get the most out of the swap without running into any issues or having them let go. What is the Benefit of the ls9 gasket?

I've got 105k on my 5.3L and will be doing DoD delete soon with LS7 lifters myself, no concerns personally. I rev'd stock 2001 Silverado lifters 7,000 RPM for a LONG time so these that are actually designed for high RPM should be good for the 6150 I turn this engine about twice a month lol.

I've heard good stuff about the Brian Tooley lifters. Definitely get new lifter trays. The LS9 gaskets are good if you plan to boost the engine. With nitrous, you can use the standard GM MLS gaskets for L92/LS3/L99 engines if you want to save a few bucks.

I was experiencing a bad tap after driving for 15min or longer. Seems a lifter would pump down and then it eventually completely collapsed.
I had a lifter that would start tapping bad after driving for 15min+ and it eventually collapsed completely.
I wish I would've just gone with the Brian Tooley Racing lifters from the start.

I bought a lq4 with 180,000 miles for $350 replaced all gaskets oil pump, timing chain, and lifters used stock pushrods and springs and my valve train is quite a bit louder than my old 190,000 4.8 but oil psi is great and have went on about 3 200+ mile road trips so far and the noise hasn't changed. Thank god
