Soo here I am again looking for something to really wake my current mods up even more. Im running a TR 219/224 601/607 on a 115lsa. Stock 243's PRC springs/ pushrods, new lifters and stock MLS gaskets. LT's no cats with a side exit stainless gibson. Im wondering what the thought is on shaving the heads or possibly just doing a stall with some gears? Its an 08 5.3 with 26k miles on entire truck. Suggestions for gear sizes, stall and head work like how much to mill them?

It is just a dang dog off the line but pulls pretty decent above 2500. Im sure the gangster 22's dont help any either lol Im just swaying towards a decent stall and gears maybe. Just not sure of sizes?

I wanted more torque until I went with a 10.5" 3600 stall tq converter. 4wd burnouts are fun...

I get 3.73/4.10s and like 3200-3600 stall in a 10.5" or smaller

4.10's and a 3200 stall change everything. It will feel a lot better. You could boost the compression as well. Milling the heads is cheap and more than worth it.

Blower all the way. Insane torque off idle.
