It sure made one hell of a loud squeal when hooked up wrong. After doing some research I'm going to see where the vent on the passenger side hooks up on a TBSS and either fabricate a way to do it like that or just put a vent filter on the fill cap and plug the port on the passenger side valve cover. Since, if I understand correct, the passenger side is more of an inlet for clean air so with a breather on it the PCV system should still be functional since the vacuum will still be connected to the drivers side port.

Here's my solution (hopefully). I just ordered the airaid intake tube for the nnbs trucks. It has the port in it to hook that passenger side pcv system inlet to. Part number 200-996 I hope it fits.

could've just done that with a hole, grommet and a vacuum fitting, but at least you got a new intake tube.

That's kind of what I have now as a temporary fix, but I guess it is time to move on from the stock tube anyway. It doesn't quite sit right in there anymore with the angle on the 90mm TB anyway. It still works but looks funny.

I'm hoping I don't have to do too much to "make" it fit. I think it should be close with the setup I have now as long as the airbox is in about the right spot. Guess I'll find out next week when it shows up.

Glad you got that figured out.

As to the squealing, I think your engine was trying to suck itself into its own black hole...LOL

It sure sounded like it. I can't believe how loud the squeal was.
Other than some minor tuning issues to work out it runs fine now.

Actually almost too good. I about turned myself into a greasy spot on the highway this morning. Pavement was damp from last nights rain and I put the hammer down going about 60-65 to find a whole through traffic so I could get to my exit and the rear end just lost it. Had to do a double or triple steer correction to straighten it back out. Luckily I just scared the crap out of myself (and probably anyone around me).

Note to self: no more WOT on wet or damp pavement.
