It was the factory that f'ed up all the o-rings. Mine was cut a little, but replaceing it did not help. Put the stethescope in the truck this evening and it was fine all the way home.

Maybe I am listening to hard. Or maybe I blew out all the carbon buildup on the way to work this morning
