If I end up building a motor I will prob do a 6.0 iron block and swap crank and rods from the 4.8 over and add larger heads. Will allow for the larger/largest heads for less money. And it will give me more growing room for other addons I suppose. Still milling over everything and my mind cannot decide. I think it all comes down to how deep my pockets are to start with. Would be awesome to have a destroked boosted ls though. Just not feasible for the price range I want.

bore a 4.8 to ls1 bore and put a power adder to it.

the point of doing the ls would be to drop the 50+ pounds off the front end... if I just wanted the displacement I would do that...
