LS1 Hot Cam

It should lope pretty good, my 114 lopes decently. That cam should throw you into the 13's untuned pretty easily.
I'm not sure if it was answered yet or not but the radiator does have to be dropped, but I left the grill in.

Ah that's nice, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to remove the grille. Yeah I'm really hoping to get in the 13's. I really have no idea what hp/tq increases I should expect, but maybe 30-40 whp? Not a whole lot of people use this cam, but for 300 bux for cam/springs I couldn't pass it up. I know for sure that getting that torque converter from RedStar I should get into the 13's.

I was looking at the hot cam too either that or 212/218 high lift, wonder which ones better for my 4.8? I also just got 2 inch drop shackles to install too lol.

nice, the hot cam is pretty good for the street (so I hear). You talkin about the comp 212/218? That's a pretty good cam as well. I really don't know what'll be best for your 4.8, but I'd say go with the larger duration (LS1 Hotcam). Just make sure you get wheatley to retune it for ya. I'm gonna put my drop shackles on wednesday if it doesn't rain like a bitch again.
