go on ls1tech.com and go to the classifieds, go to the wanted catagory and just put WTB stock ls1 pistons. i am looking for some as i bored my 5.3 out to 99mm (stock LS1) and i need a set. four people have replied back. one has a set for 100 shipped with 80 thousand miles, another has a set out of a remanned shortblock for 250 shipped, and i haven't got a price for the other two sets.

You should always balance the assembly. The factories balance job is not that great imo.
The 5.3 crank should balance out without any mallory.Keeps the cost down a lot.
