LS2 cam
So i have a 01 suburban with a 5.3 and I have a ls2 cam and was wondering
what if any power gains I could expect. Im not worried about time to swap it.
Just looking for some opinions, thanks

LS2 cam is suppose to be the same as a 2001 LS6 cam. 204/211 .525 lift 116.5 lsa
but the with no reluctor ring since the cam sensor is in the front cover instead of the rear of the engine like your 01 is.
So figure out how to get the reluctor ring on it or a front cover with a cam sensor and extend the wires and your good to go.
If your goin turbo, it would be worth it. but N/A i dont think the gains are worth the work installing.

I did an LS2 cam in mine before I went turbo, and I can vouch for it. You will feel a decent gain. It was night and day on the top side, and I skull drug a NNBS like mine with the same mods minus the cam. If you have one already, and if it was me, I'd put it in. I felt mine was more then worth it when I was N/A.
