LS2 timing chain discussion
Ok I should know this but, the ls2 timing chain, (from what i gathered from a search, yes i did a search. ) part number 12586482 can be easily switched out in place of the stock timing chain while reusing the stock sprockets? I just want to make sure that this info is correct before i go ***** first into my camswap....again. With 96k miles on the clock, do you think its worth it to go through the trouble to change the timing chain out? As always, opinions and comments are entertained. Thanks for reading!

i had run the ls2 timing chain before and know other ppl with same setup. as long as your stock sprockets are low in miles or dont have much wear to them then yes only buy the chain
