Yea you will probably lose 1 mpg but 99% of the things on this site are bad for you gas mileage

You'll be able to do better than that with the right tuning and driving habits. If you do a lot of highway driving, the converter will not be a real issue, as once the tcc is locked you have an "economical" 1:1 ratio.

qeustion do I need new pushrods for the 03 LS6 cam nd spring swap? 07 4.8L motor?

not NEEDED but recommended.. grey matter is running the stockers with his Ls6 cam

my heads are also milled down .040 with LS7 lifters
No valve train or lifter noise at all sounds stock

I would run a 7.425 if i had stock heads
LS6 cam has a .025 smaller base circle
