Default LS6 springs with TR224 or 224XE???

Can you run LS6 springs with a TR224 or 224XE? I have a set and would really like to use them. Any help would be appreciated...

It's been done before. I know dirttrackracer81 did it. I wouldn't risk it though. Comp 918 $150.

I run a 220 cam with XE lobes with LS6 springs spinning up to 6600 frequently without a problem... A friend of mine has a 224 on XE lobes with ls6 springs also without any problems...

TR224 has more aggressive lobes than the XE I believe....I think it's between the XE and XER

Yeah, that is what i think too, but i have never seen the ramp rates... I now 220 duration the TR is .551 lift and the XE is .56X lift and the XER is .58X lift...

I am most likely going to go with the 224XE. They both have the same gains. Unless I can find one used. I guess I will now start looking around here for one first. Does anyone know off hand someone that has either one of these?
