LS6 springs can be used but I would advise shimming them to within .060" of coilbind for added seat and open pressure. Don't just throw them in and drive.
I ran Patriot Golds on my TR224 and after almost 20K miles they had lost very little open and closed psi vs a set of 918's that were down 20-25psi after 10K miles.

i like running the comp 918's over the LS6 springs. these aftermarket cams are much more aggressive than a factory LS6 cam there for use a more aggressive spring to control the valve harmonics better. just my .02
