LS7 lifters
hey there guys im doing a vvt delete on my 09 denali.. H/C swap
crank sprocket
cam gear
timing chain
front cover
ill be shifting @ 6400.. i heard that the L92 lifters dont handle high rpm shifting.. so do u guys recommend changin the lifters to LS7.. < also do i need to change anything else when doing that
also.. my tuner today recomended that i install LS7 rocker amrs as well..
any suggestions i need replies its important cause im doing the swap in 2 weeks and i need everything to be ready because i have an appointment for the installation

+1, that's what I'm going to be putting in my LQ9 I've actually heard that the expensive Comp R lifters (or whatever they're called) are junk. Just be sure to get your lifter pre-load spot on, as from what I've read, most of the LS7 lifter failures seem to be on engines where the installer didn't properly measure lifter preload, or just went by what they heard in a "what length pushrod" thread...

You need a push rod checker to get the right length. they are like 20 bucks

I hope the ls7s are good. i had a set delivered today for my new engine build. I talked to alot of people before i bought them and everyone told me to go with the ls7 or the cts-v race lifters if your willing to spend the money on them. I hated my comps, click click click click all day long.
