Default Lunati Gold Dual Valve Springs

So who's running these? They're the most inexpensive dual valve spring kit that I've seen available, and I've always had great luck with Lunati products in the past. Seems the complete kit runs around $210 and can handle .660 lift...comes with everything you need to install these springs...

The kit is complete with dual valve springs, steel retainers, locks, valve seals and spring locators and represents a drop-in installation for many popular LS applications. Lunati’s retainers and spring locators are CNC-manufactured from 4140 alloy steel. The locators pilot onto the valve guides and locate the inner diameter of the inner valve springs, preventing them from abrading the spring pockets in the aluminum heads. In common with all dual-spring retainers, these new Lunati types have a group of steps machined into their underside (which locate the upper registers of the valve springs) and a bore machined to accept the 7-degree valve locks. The locks are equipped with inner bead locks and the 7-degree interference angle between the locks and the retainers is favored by many who believe it causes the locks to clamp the valve stems tighter. Through careful CAD and FEA design efforts, Lunati engineers have developed a new valve spring retainer design using wear-favorable alloy steel, yet nearly matching the weight advantage of Titanium. For street/strip longevity, Lunati’s lightweight alloy steel retainer is unbeatable. Viton steel-jacketed valve seals complete the kit. The steel jackets ensure the valve stem seals remain tight around the valve guides and also protect the seals should the inner springs come in light contact with them. The Viton material is ideal for resisting heat and oil, particularly some of the more aggressive oil additives that cause ordinary seals to swell and distort.

I've used a few sets of these with no issues. In fact they almost look just like patriots springs, they just come with different retainers.

I will be running a set in a couple weeks. If you don't have any more responses than now I will chime back at a later date.

I use them and so does dirt track racer. The only we like about the patriots over the lunati's is the bigger keeper. The ones lunati sends look like stockers where the patriots are a little beefier.

I've got them. I just got some valve train noise the other day, going to take the covers off and check them. But so far I like them.

Glad that you like them so far Tyler, please keep me updated on what you find with the valvetrain noise

Thanks for the responses everybody...

I just can't believe how inexpensive that they are compared to the other dual kits out there...

That sounds pretty good to me...

I was checking out the PRC's on TSP's website and they didn't list the valve locks in the description
