The fitting doesn't come straight off, it has to bend up towards the turbo. I looked at Joeys setup on his Gen 3 too, and for some reason it looks like he has way less clearance than mine for some reason. Not sure why.

That's about where I put my fitting and it is pretty close to the balancer. I might run my tap in a little more to get the fitting to go in farther. I'm using a 1/2" npt to -10 AN fitting and if i were to do it over again, i would prob use a straight thread o-ringed fitting for more clearance. Just my ...

You know, when I built my G8's motor I went with those exact same pistons, only difference is, my Wiseco box turned yellow and brown. I accidentally set my box on top of a hot stove in order to answer a phone, and next thing I know I have eight flaming Wiseco's.

That sucks man. You built the engine, I assume all was ok after you put the fire out?

Lol indeed.

Oh yeah they were fine! Just melted the plastic to the pistons a bit.

A lesson was learned that day.

I didn't build my engine in the kitchen, so that must be why I got away without burning the pistons
