It all comes down to what u want. If u want a big cam try it. getting into moding and trying to be fast is always trill and error. Usually what these guys tell u is pretty much the right way to go.
LOL not trying to be a dick, you basically contradicted your self here.. 95% of the things out on the ls engines have been tested, tried. It is not like back in the days where there was no info on things, guys were swapping cams out left and right ect.. It is all here, has been done..

lmao. That would equal a mean sounding, dog slow combo.

Get a converter that stalls to AT LEAST 3000, and a cam with duration in the low 220s with a 112 LSA. IMO

Something like a 220R from Texas Speed or TR220 from Thunder Racing.

this thread was fun to read lol....i remember when i thought the ms4 was huge lol.

you will lose power with the LS1 intake, and the cost to swap the manifold is high. why spend a ton of money to lose power? sell the manifold, injectors, bull dog, spacer and MAF on ebay and have a reputable tuner work with your truck. most of all READ READ READ. i think you have a ton of reading to do before even considering a cam swap. youve gone the complete wrong direction with power mods on your truck so far. i like the sound of a tr220 and 3k stall with your big truck

But I wouldn't recommend anything lower than a 3600 converter with it. I think mine would run better with a 4000+ converter, and thats with 4.11 gears.
