need cam ID help..

Default need cam ID help..

stock ls2 cam ..i have the PN but the cam i received is a single bolt type and i dont see the number. i was suppoed to be getting a stock ls2 cam witch i thought was 3 bolt. can i get some help here.
guess i need to know what numbers are on the stock 2008 4.8 cam AND the numbers that are on the ls2 cam.

No ideas here on which part numbers but if it came down to keeping that camshaft, all you'd have to do is change the cam sprocket to the single hole. Hopefully somebody will chime in here with the numbers you need.

to my understanding the ls2 cam is a single bolt style cam. Not sure about the part number

K, my 08 is a single bolt. The ls2 cam i received is a single bolt. I thought the ls2 cams were 3 bolt but after calling around i think we think it came outta an 07 vette. not sure tho

early ls2 are 3 bolt cams. the 07 and later are single bolt.
