I have an 07 aluminum 5.3 with the 799 heads. I am going to delete all the DOD stuff. I am planning on milling .040" off the heads to get the compression up. I was looking at the tsp torquerv2 232/234 and 595/598" lift and a 111LSA. Also with a 3000-3500 stall.
This is a little different than most of what you are running in the way it is going in a 2500-2700lb. car. I have 3.73 gears in the rear with 27" tires. I will also have an ls1 intake and all the bolt ons.
Will I have anything to worry about with ptv clearance? What kind of compression should I have? If anyone has any other suggestions for a cam or converter or something else I may need to do and where to get it please let me know. Thank you
