Definitely need a converter or you wont be happy running the 4l80. Size your cam now for the future converter you plan to use.

oh hey wussup manuel did u finally realize who i wuz? well neway how big of a stall should i look in2 with the rite size cam without going to radical but still making a pretty good gain hp/tq? i hav also looked in2 the 224r cam also and a lil interested as ive seen the gains it gives without a stall....

I like my cam 220/224, even thou I have a decent converter i bet it would be pretty good without one.... the TQ down low is great and it pulls to 6200-6400....

i got my cam used off of LS1tech, but it had the DCR and overlap i was looking for, I was planning on buying the exact cam but on a 114 LSA, but i got a deal on this one..

oh ok...cant beat a good deal...ill be looking around the forums also just never know wut can be found...as far as a used converter, im having truble finding a used 3000-3400 stall in good shape for a 4l80...
