Need help on TSP Stage 2.5 LS6 Heads for 5.3L Sierra

5.3 Heads are good for bumping compression and once ported, flow fairly well. A 2.5 5.3 will only flow about 8 cfm less than a 2.5 LS6.

For your application, I would recommend a stage 1 LS6 head with minimal milling to keep compression down. The smaller valves will are more suited to the small bore of the 5.3. Give me a call if you need any more assistance!
Thanks Beau. How much milling do you mean when you say minimal? Also I'm wondering if I would need shorter pushrods. Thats the only thing that worries me.
