Do a converter and gears first, any cam larger than stock is going to suck with a 4.8. I dropped over a full second off my 1/4 mile times with a 3600 stall and no other mods.

Which converter would work in a stock set up?i can't seem to find that tb i6 converter pt #. I had a converter i got from my bro-inlaw but it was for a ss not a i6.I read that that the i6 converter was a 2600 stall.
