Default New l92s, Intake?

Just picked up a pair of L92s for a killer deal, the guy also has an LS3 intake w/ TB and 42# injectors. Will this fit in a truck with the water pump and pulleys? I cant find a thread that says definitely either way.

see this is what i'm talking about. havent bought the intake yet, but i've got first call on it.

I need to know whether it will fit, whether its worth it to swap accessories to run this specific intake, or just get an l92 intake to fit the rectangle ports.

Well your question wasnt specific. You mention 2 different intakes, then ask if "this" will fit.

The L92 intake will fit fine without any problems.
The LS3 intake requires modification to fit.

The ls3 intake does not have any huge advantage over the l92 and I think has less low-rpm torque numbers, so I would not recommend swapping to it unless you just want the look.

I was only asking about the ls3 intake, that's all the guy has, he decided not to go with his big motor build.

Are the new truck intakes cathedral or rectangle port?

the 4.8 and 5.3s are cathedral while the 6.0s and 6.2s are rectangular.

I'm running LS3 heads and intake. It takes a car style water pump, pulley relocation, four bolt throttle body, custom/modified water pump to radiator hose, modification to radiator support bracket, water pump spacers, longer serpentine, longer water pump bolts, ect. ect. ect. ect.... I would pass on the LS3 intake and run a newer style L92 truck intake.

so with these new heads, am I going to be looking at a retune because of a change in compression, or can I remedy that with a different head gasket.

also I've been reading with the 3/4 ton and 1 ton guys out there say this swap of heads in the long run really isn't that great of an improvement. Top end yeah, but I was hoping for some bottom end as well. Like I said, I got them at a great deal, should I stick them on or let them go? They'd be going on the truck in my sig.
