not a gm tuck motor buuuut
ok, flame suite on. i need to talk to some guys that build honda motors. i know there are few on here so don't lie. my beater is starting to smoke a bit and it needs rebuilt. only i want to add a few things. like a turbo my truck is sooo much faster than my car so being that it needs a rebuild i figure why not do it right. question here is at what point do you need sleeves? when do the stock ones start to become a liability? it a gsr block.
now i kow i could go to some ricer forums. i have ask this on a few but i would lie to know from you guys.
what i'm looking at doing is stock crank, je or aries pistons, eagle or crower rods. still looking for the best of the two or if there is something better. i'll be useing my b16a head. i don't have the gsr head. then i'm going to upgrade my tahoe's turbo and put a t3 turbine wheel and housing on the one that is in the tahoe. then install it to the car.

Its not the sleeves but the fact that there is one big water jacket around the sleeves lol. You need to weld material in to make big power. Up to 450-500 you are ok with rods and pistons. Serious block mods should be done to make more then that though to keep from core shift and such. We build em here and have tuned some too.
