I have seen some people use a little filter instead of venting the passenger side to the intake tube. Is this ok?

6500.. im thinking of adding a breather.. the catch can will solve it but not completely.. the breather will help imo.. where could i find out i went to a local speed shops he had 2 from k&n neither of them fit..

I bought my breather from metco....screws in the place of the oil fill cap

does it leak.. i read on ls1tech that it does..
where could i find one? part # would be helpfull as well.. my 1st choice would be a breather if it didnt help ill add a catch can..

I would add acatch can first. I just added the breather to get more air in there. My breather has not leaked at all. has a rubber o-ring for a great seal. metcomotorsports.com and the part # is mbr0003 $46.99

It won't really make a difference as the passenger side is actually the fresh air return to the crankcase, not suction to the intake

So the line from the intake tube to the passenger head is pulling air in ? if I have a breather on the passenger side can I cap this off?

I'd leave the breather on there or you may get excess vacuum from the PCV side

No. leave the breather on the oil fill and cap off the barb on the passenger side.

You can do that if you'd like to, just keep an eye on the breather, I've known those things to get a little messy in the past...
