Default Oil Pump Question on a 5.3L.

If I put a blueprinted and ported oil pump like from Texas Speed on my 5.3L will it starve the engine of oil? In other words will it pump SOO MUCH oil that it sucks all the oil out of the pan and since there would be no more or very little oil in the pan that it would in turn starve the engine of oil??

just stay away from the aftermarket "high volume" pumps. a ported stocker isn't really pumping any more oil than stock, it just has a smoother path to pump through
