ok look over this top end build cam
Goal=I am looking for a great all around cam for city driving that works well with a ls6 valve spring.
Truck= silverado SS with 6.0 yank 2600,LSXRT manifold and 243 heads with .4 cometic gasket so about 11 coompression
Cam= 218/224 .527/534" 115LSA +4
What are your opinions of this cam and what do you think it will do for all around driving experience? Maybe a little better 1/4" hopefully?

Everything looks good as far as heads, stall, but. I would look into a cam with a little more lift, keep the duration about the same, a little tighter lsa, if your going to have that much advance ground in it. I am not expert, but thats what I would look into.

I agree... more lift would be a good thing.
Thats also a pretty intense intake manifold for such a small cam combo. That thing really shines up top and slightly more cam would take advantage of that.
I agree that a tighter LSA would probably make this cam feel more powerful in the meat of the powerban, but the wider LSA will help with city driving and overall drivability down low in the RPM's. Put it this way, its a tighter LSA with more duration than the LS2 cam, and with 243 heads on the LQ9 you have the same compression the LS2 has stock.
