pacs or Patriot Performance Dual "Gold" Springs??
hey i need some help...
ok first of all i have this cam: "TR 224-112" - 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA 1700-6600 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning on automatic transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.
im just about to buy springs and im wondering what i should go with, i hear good stuff about pacs, bad things about 918´s and a seller at thunderracing told me the Patriot Performance Dual "Gold" Springs where better then the pacs, what do u guys think? and if u recommend me pacs, wish ones: 1218 or 1518?
thanx

if it were me id go with the pacs the 1218s i have the same cam awaiting install you dont need the patriots you dont have enough lift and duration to need them. plenty of people are running the 1218s with a bigger cam then your running with no problems

well the ls motors have rubber gaskets instead of paper so you might be able to get away with out any gaskets but i would rather be safe then sorry but you can always just run to autozone to i guess if needbe i would look into a timing chain how many miles are on your truck
