Default Patriot cam?

I'm still trying to find out what cam to run... I noticed that the Patriot cam is 100 bucks less expensive than almost any of the other cams i've been looking at. Is anyone running this cam? Any dyno numbers?

I would look into another brand. I have never had 1st hand exp with any of there products, but from the things I have heard about the heads they sell, I would op to spend more... Again some people might have had great results, but I have heard of alot of probs

a few people have ran their 226/226 cam and have had very good results.... there was a thread about this a few years back.... i believe comp cam grinds their cams so its the same....

It's a standard comp XER cam as far as I know

Although you never know if it's legit or not. It could be a regrind. Just like those aftermarket casting 243 LS6 heads they sold for $450.

Hey thanks for the input guys! I was thinkin of running the 225 229 cam.. But i just found me a cam over at ls1tech.. 224/232 .581/.595 w/114 Lsa ground on comp XE-R lobes. I bought it with some patriot dual gold springs. I think it ought to run pretty good
