how do you like that cam, I am ordering LS-6 heads from Patriot milled back down to a 61 chamber tomorrow and lookin for a good cam to install while i am in there. Its a 99 Z71 5.3 ordering new heads because they have header bolts stuck in after installing pacesetter headers. Also with the head swap I will be running 918 springs in as well.

Right now it barely idles, and has no power because I need a tune. So I am not really able to comment on the cam too much. I know it has a nice choppy idle, that's about it.

Good luck with the project. Is this a 5.3L, or a LQ4?

I hope that you put lock-tite on those rocker bolts!

Yes, I used loctite and no smoke. It is a 5.3, and I am going to try to get it tuned within the next 2 weeks. It feels better today, I got on it a little more.

pull off one of the breathers for the valve cover, and that'll make it idle until you get a tune. . . . less 2 footing
