Default Piston Slap!!

I built my 370ci and I have stock crank and stock rods with Mahle pistons the question I have is does anyone else have piston slap? It is noticeable at start up but quiets down once it warms up I was told it is piston slap but it drives me nuts to hear it every time I start the truck up, Is this common? I thought it was in my tranny but it is in the motor.

Just wait till it gets a some more miles on it lol Those pistons with a little clearance are just loud for some reason even in the 4032 alloy. They seem to hold up to some abuse and last a long time tho. Had them in my first 370 and it was same way.

As long as it goes away once warm and you wait to beat on it til it's warmed up, you'll be fine.
