Mainly just at the track... but I probably wont be going sprayed atleast till next winter anyways

I wonder from 5.3 If I take to machine shop and tell them to bored 3.898 to make 346 cubic on block correct?

I know its loose, but it could still work. Not what I would have done, but could work.

Ok heres the deal... got off the phone with TSP... the pistons are 3.908s, which apparently is supposed to be the exact bore as well... when measuring the pistons they are coming out to a 3.905 to the coating, so I take it they have the clearance in the piston? So I do have the 3.908 pistons only with everything Mahle was telling us they are supposed to measure to a 3.905.

Sooooo.... that being said, I got a 3.908 piston (by the P/N) that measures 3.905 (which is correct by Mahle's book) with a 3.910 bore, so I guess I am actually .002 over what Mahle recommends.... mother ******!

No doubt it will run, but like I said if your going to have to listen to the pistons, they might as well be 2618's.....

Unfortunately thats my only option left as I am totally broke and still have to pay the guy to assemble and deck my block

Guess ill start putting a secret 6.0 together on the side
