Default Plans for the Lady's Chariot

As some of you know my modded 5.3l took a crap after 9 yrs., and 169k miles. I have decided to have an engine built.

Eric and I have decided on a 6.0l LY6 with PRC CNC Stage 2.5 LS6 Heads.
Cam is TSP 228/228, .581/.581. 111 Lsa, or should I go with the 110 Lsa?

The rest of the support team is in my siggy...

Your input will be welcome.

Thanks.. Lisa

why not get the 706 heads hand ported? arent they already CNCed? they'll flow just the same as the ls6 heads.

Seems like an odd cam choice for a square port head.

edit: I'm retarded and didnt notice you werent using the stock LY6 heads.

whats wrong with the patriot heads? If I was going with the ly6, I would use the 60cc heads you have to get 11:1 out of it. Ly6 is the gen 4 equivalant of a lq4. dished pistons HD rods ect. I say bump the comp, and run a custom grind with a low LSA to get your truck moving and bring in power earlier. smaller cam will make it more fun to drive and will make the most out of the mods you already have.

or...ls3/l92 heads with a mill to boost comp with a custom grind.

either way its a good start. are you gonna get a reluctor converter for the 58 tooth motor?

Right now I don't know what shape the heads are in, or at least the driver side is ok. The passenger side is a flip of the coin. So to play it safe we went with a new build.

And the reluctor converter is in there...
